Carry-Out Service Suspended
At this time, we have decided to once again suspend our take-out food service while we reassess. This is a very difficult time in the world and a very difficult time to be a restaurant in downtown Portland. Bigger, more important things are happening in the world right now. We at Raven & Rose stand in full support of Black Lives Matter.
Everyone please stay safe and stay strong. We hope to be open and serving you again very soon.
Local cuisine, inspired by the British Isles.
Nestled in the heart of the Arts District in Downtown Portland, Raven & Rose in the historic Ladd Carriage House provides a warm and inviting escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Our first-floor restaurant dining room offers classic and contemporary dishes, inspired by the great gastropubs of the British Isles, as well as full wine, beer and spirits menus. Upstairs, in what was originally the hayloft, The Rookery Bar crafts some of the finest classic cocktails in town, accompanied by our take on classic pub fare.

Temporary Dining Room & Bar Closure Due to COVID-19
March 16th, 2020 - TBD
Live Music in The Rookery Bar **Temporarily Suspended**
Did you know? We regularly host an array of local and visiting musicians and bands upstairs in The Rookery Bar. Visit us on a Tuesday for live traditional Irish music, or try a Thursday or Saturday evening for a taste of folk, jazz, blues and many other genres. Our schedule is always being updated. Check it out!
At this time, we feel it is our responsibility to temporarily suspend our dining and bar services in order to help slow the spread of COVID-19. This has been an extremely difficult decision to make, and it has not been made lightly. We are deeply concerned for the welfare of our dedicated staff as well both our loyal regulars and future customers. We are hopeful that this closure will be brief, and that everyone stays safe and well. We will let you know the moment we are able to reopen.
When normal business resumes, we will again take reservations in the dining room for all services. Walk-ins are always welcome on a first-come-first-serve basis. The Rookery Bar is walk-in only. For information on large group and special event reservations, please call or email.
BEHIND THE SCENES: RESEARCH
A trip to the British Isles...
In order to keep us on our culinary toes, we are always studying, always researching both the modern and historical cuisines and beverage cultures of England, Ireland, Scotland and Wales. This spring, we are excited to have the opportunity to visit two of those countries on a research trip. We look forward to bringing back fresh ideas and inspiration for our menus.
